1997 - APGO Women's Healthcare Education Office (WHEO) is established.
1998 - Interdisciplinary Women's Health Care Education Special Interest Group is organized within the Women In Medicine (WIM) program at the AAMC Annual meeting.
2000 - APGO WHEO hosts the 2000 APGO Interdisciplinary Women's Health Education Retreat, "Undergraduate Medical Education in Women's Health: Today and Tomorrow," held November 10-12 at the Westfields Marriott Conference Center in Chantilly, VA.
